What You Love About Music: I love how it brings people together and creates long-lasting memories. I also love the meditative qualities of jamming and how it has the power to focus your mind and take it off the daily hustle and bustle. The way it connects you with your fellow musicians!

Motto: Strike while the iron’s hot!

Biography:

The highlights of my career since graduating mainly revolve around the adventures of my originals band Koyo, tutoring and session work. With Koyo we’ve released two albums to date which were met with widespread critical acclaim (making the top albums of 2017 in Classic Rock Magazine) and we’ve toured the UK playing Download, Reading & Leeds, Tramlines, Ramblin’ Man and more. As a session guitarist I’ve toured Europe with singer KARI, playing Open’er festival in Poland (supporting M.I.A) and performing on the Polish equivalent of Good Morning Britain. I’m currently playing for singer RIKA (signed to Warner). ). I’ve also worked alongside many top producers and session musicians.

Aside from that I spend a lot of time driving up and down the country performing at weddings with my pink suited funk and soul band Club Mojo. I also love tutoring and have been teaching guitar privately within schools and out of my own studio space at the Chapel in Leeds for years now. A highlight for me was guiding a 14 year old student to distinction in grade 8. In the future I’d like to keep growing doing what I’m doing as a tutor, session musician and artist and see where it gets me!
