Are you a singer? Do you play an instrument? Are you a complete novice? Did you play an instrument in your teenage years? Or is being in a band something you’ve always wanted to try? Here’s your opportunity to be a Rock Star for the weekend and tick it off your bucket list!
This offer is open to anyone over the age of 18, and in true Rock School UK style, we would love to see some slightly ‘more mature’ participants! And remember… you can be a COMPLETE BEGINNER!
With the guidance of our tutors, who all have many years of experience in the music business, you will have the opportunity to:
• Form a Band
• Pick Your own band name
• Learn to sing and play your favourite cover versions
• Then polish off your performance techniques, all in time for the main event the very next day… a slot at one of our Rock School UK gigs!
Rock School UK will provide full PA systems for each band; drum kits, amplifiers and keyboards – so just bring your instrument, plug in, mic up, take your seat – and let’s jam! (We have a plenty of spare insturments for any first time Adult Rockers.)
You will perform your songs in front of a live audience of friends and family… and loads of Young Rock School UK Rockers! The gig is to be held at The Wardrobe, a national live music venue in Leeds City Centre. Our shows have always proved to be an occasion to remember!
The adult’s Rock School UK weekend course price is £145 per person.
The 2024 adults course is running on Saturday 7th December 10am – 6pm, with the finale gig on Sunday 8th December 12pm – 4pm where you will perform alongside some of our children’s Rock School UK bands.
