Qualifications & Place of Study: First class honours degree in Popular Music Composition at Leeds College Of Music.
Favourite show played: I have two – uh oh. Gibraltar Music Festival main stage (supporting Rita Ora & The Script & more) and my end of year group study performance at university (we did a alt rock project and I was in my element!). Think Karen O mixed with The Velvet Underground!
Desert Island Disc: Taylor Mcferrin’s Early Riser álbum OR Laura Marling’s A Creature I don’t know. I can never choose just one!
What you love about music: it’s ability to transform you into another body/place/time. Performing is why I do what I do.
Motto: if it doesn’t scare you (even just a little bit) it’s not worth doing. I may have stolen that from Beyoncé but it’s so true! Fear drives success in so many aspects of the industry & as a creative.
